We came across the UK’s Nova Gain Records (@novagain) on SoundCloud and learned that we can definitely dig the sounds of Nova Gain personnel Mr. Konfuze, Lunatic, and Kiatone, and we’ve been Lack of Afro (@lackofafro) fans for quite a while.
Calling on two classic hip-hopper essentials, “Rapper’s Delight” and “Lookout Weekend,” while maintaining the soulful originality we’ve come to expect from these funky brothers, this release is a great sampling of what these brethren bring to the table.
