It’s back to the UK with the funky brothers PHIBES with some midtempo breaks with which they’ve been spinning and setting it off in Southwest England, beginning with their remix of “Something’s Going Down Tonight”:
The brothers Ryan and Scott aka PHIBES (@wildphibes) of Falmouth, Britain, sent a couple of their remixes to our Bboysounds group on Soundcloud, to which we encourage everyone to visit and contribute their sounds, and it’s dope to see some innovation with their Breaks moving into the midtempo range, remaining funky as ever with a unique flavor and vibe.

Their aim is to bring back some of the classic sounds of years gone by and bring them up to date with crisp new beats and a pinch of wobble thrown in for good measure, their fresh production style has not gone un-noticed as they have recently caught the attention of two major labels in the mid tempo scene, Breakbeat Paradise Records and Radical Mixtape Recordings.
