Comencemos con Jungle Fire! One fo the ILLest bboy bands around today, Jungle Fire has been featured several times before on Bboysounds. This video version of their well-known Bboy track “Comencemos” showcases the band live at Los Angeles’ Beat Swap Meet, and yes, the Bboys and Bgirls are in attendance and getting down.
What we love about this group is the welding of Afro & Latin funk, the diversity of instrumentation and improvisation, and the fact that simply the sound of their music playing causes anyone listening to Uprock. Definitely glad to see SoCal Bboy Funk banner displayed so proudly.
