At our interview with DJ Foureyez in Jerusalem in early 2011, the kid was holding down a cipher on a main corner in downtown Jerusalem, where people from the four corners of the Earth stopped by to check him out.
We spoke about the political difficulties that sometimes prevent Kosher Flava Crew, among other Israeli crews, from being able to jam with Palestinian Bboys from Gaza and/or the West Bank, and without getting into the blame game and politics, it was clear that Bboy and Hip-hop Culture can unite the youth of a population that’s at war by all accounts.
Recently finishing up with his service in the Israel Defense Forces, Foureyez is going to be dropping serious Illness like this so keep an eye and ear out for him!
