I’m Here To Rock You – Alcatraz Electro

Alcatraz Electro is back in the house with a seriously dope and catchy jammer called “I’m Here to Rock You”:

Our Isle of Wight homie Alcatraz Electro (@alcatrazel_2013) has blown up our Bboysounds Soundcloud group with his original jams (and we welcome any and all music submissions, so producers, DJs, and artists, jump in the water!), and we’re loving it again and again.

This time, the UK homie has outdone himself with a track for the dancefloor in general, while still extremely dope for the cipher as well.

Bringing the vocoder to the table has led to Alcatraz Electro creating a jam that blends, in our estimation, genres of House, Freestyle, and Funk in a way that would make Bambaataa proud.

Some very lucky DJs are going to take advantage of the very kind Free Download and have some fresh joints for the crates!

Alcatraz Electro has a wide wealth of dope bboy sounds and videos to go with them, so peep his Youtube and Soundcloud pages.

Dig the source of Alcatraz’s background sample for “I’m Here to Rock You,” from Funkadelic’s “(Not Just) Knee Deep”:

And of course, that same sample found it’s way into the De La Soul classic “Me, Myself, and I”:
