If You’re Looking for Love – The Triads

Bboy Danny the Dog has unleashed some wickedness in the Bboysounds Group on Soundcloud, and you’re about to find out exactly what I mean, starting with a rare joint from The Triads: “If You’re Looking for Love”:

Thanks to Bboy Danny the Dog for dropping this gem in our Soundcloud group, and peace to Bboys and Bgirls in Sofia, Bulgaria!

bb-cass-2014-fb-social-profile-picWe encourage anyone and everyone to join the group and share the sounds for the benefit of all, whether you’re a DJ, producer, musician, MC, crate digger, classic funkster, soul huskie, plain old hip-hop head, or boom biddy bye-bye.

Take my advice and visit Danny the Dog’s Soundcloud page where you’ll find some funky trinkets.

Some background on the The Triads from Numero Group (@numerogroup):

Down in Tampa, Blair Mooney avidly chased kid soul aspirations. Though only one was released on his Gimp label, Mooney produced a handful of juvenile acts between 1970 and ’75. Backed by a hard funk ensemble, the Triads’ “If You’re Looking For Love” put the Jacksons’ pop soul on notice, but not outside of Hillsborough County. Mooney remembers nothing about the group, making this single the only evidence of their existence.

Wonderlove’s Soundcloud page is another place you should visit and spend some quality time.

The Englishman from Newcastle upon Tyne, UK Robert Silmon has amassed a collection of re-edits worthy of the disco, many of which can be downloaded for the low, low price of FREE (like this one)!

And follow Wonderlove on Facebook, support the people dropping these tracks!
