DJ Blesone has done it again with his new original break “Beacon Hill” made especially for Massive Monkees 15th Anniversary, going down today in Seattle:
The multi-talented musician (@djblesone) is a steady presence at Bboysounds and even gave us some insight into the process in a recent interview.
Blesone’s new joint “Beacon Hill” is another of many generous free downloads from the man himself, who says of his music:
I put my music out there for people to break to & for djs to have something new to play or to cut up & get busy… I love being able to contribute something back to the culture of hip hop which has given me my whole life & all my great travels, experiences & friends. I’m here because of hip hop, I wouldn’t be alive if I didn’t have this.
Big up to the funky brother as well as his groups Don’t Talk to the Cops (@dtttc) and Mash Hall Love Family (@mashhall).
A note on the track from Blesone’s Soundcloud:
In honor of the Massive Monkees 15th Year Anniversary I made this official original break to celebrate the MM Day event & all the years the crew has put it down for the town. Beacon Hill is where MM started at Jefferson Community Center & is where my memories of living & breaking with the crew find their home. If you live in Beacon Hill then you know about the planes flying overhead all the time from Boeing & Sea-Tac. PEACE to my MM brothers & sisters!
