I Believe in Miracles – The Jackson Sisters

The Jackson Sisters made a track that every Bboy, Bgirl, Hip-hop head, Rare Funk Lover, crate diggers, and otherwise, should all know by heart! “I Believe in Miracles” is an extremely #dope track that has been covered, sampled, remixed, and regrooved countless times, but nothing quite does it like the original:

Some background on the Sisters from SoulWalking:

Based in Detroit, but originally out of Compton in California, The Jackson Sisters recorded material, with some modest success in the 1970’s, however the group really came into their own nearly a decade later following the emergence of the ‘rare groove’ scene in the U.K. Jackie was the eldest of the five siblings, Gennie the youngest.

In the late ’80s, the late Johnny Bristol penned and produced ‘Shake Her Loose’, in 1975. Bobby Taylor, produced and co-wrote the ‘rare groove’ anthem, ‘I Believe In Miracles’, in 1976.
